There is more accommodation available along the Costa Blanca than in most destinations anywhere in the world; cheap and cheerful self-catering apartments, all-in package deals in high-rises in Benidorm, huge villas with pools and delightful inland casitas - the choice is massive.
The Benidorm 'flight plus accommodation' packages can prove to be good value especially for small groups.
For villas, there is a premium paid for stopping down by the coast, up in the hills things are considerably less expensive. You will often have a surfeit of facilities (pool, barbecues, balconies, televisions and dishwashers) a bit of a contrast to the usual UK climbing trip! Large groups visiting out of season may find hiring a villa the cheapest option.
The inland casitas are almost certainly the best option for those who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Many are beautifully situated, close to the climbing, and provide a good opportunity to see another side of Spain.
If you arrive with nothing pre-booked, either try the local Tourist Offices or find a tower block with a 'to rent' sign displayed (many of them have a 24 hour office) or phone one of the contacts below.

La Asmoladora

"Paradise between mountains"

Situated near Parcent in the peaceful Jalon Valley, finca La Asmoladora is at the centre of the climbing areas of the Costa Blanca with the nearest crags only 5 mins away.

The finca is an excellent base for climbers wanting to avoid the overcrowded tourist areas of the coast.
It has a range of superb modestly-priced self-catering accommodation, for groups from 2 to 18 people.
For relaxing before or after climbing, La Asmoladora has acres of almonds and olive terraces, its own wilderness area plus a tennis court and a huge barbeque and pool.
When food preparation is too much trouble there are ten restaurants within about 1km.

Casa Mariposa

Set in on a hillside in the Jalon Valley over looking the village of Alcalali, this fabulous villa has breathtaking views, whilst the nearest climbing is practically on the doorstep.

The villa can be booked on either a 2 or 3 bedroom basis. There is a large double bedroom (ensuit) and an enormous twin bedroom (with separate bathroom) in the main villa. The third bedroom, a double (with shower room) is in a separate annex and so is optional. There is a comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Private pool and terraces, BBQ and garden. Refuges

The only refuge in the area is at Sella which has a small shop and camping available out side. It can get noisy in the refuge at busy times but there are always others to climb with which is attractive if you are travelling alone.

Camping

There are numerous campsites to be found in along the costal strip, although these are usually closed in the winter and crowded in the summer. Also, they are surprisingly expensive and it is usually cheaper to rent an apartment. Two spots where you can camp relatively cheaply are by the refuge at Sella and at the parking spot below Olta. Both have limited facilities.
