More like 4c if you are 6'+. A lot harder for the short.
Being able to reach the top whilst using the big undercut in the middle break certainly makes it quite easy
I guess, it does if that's the method you used. I reached round the corner for the microscopic flake. Definitely felt like 5b to me, but a bit of a one move wonder
undercut and reach for the huge jug on the top. my mate led it after he'd seconded me up it and he can barely lead vs.
Easiest method is to stand up using the microscopic flake for your left and a fingertip undercut hold for your right (leaning left)
Even easier if you are 6ft 5!
More logical, and better climbing, if the arete is followed from the start.
The flake for your left hand is far bigger than microscopic. There is no way I could undercut and reach for the top -it is way to far for me! |
