Adjacent Routes The left-hand side of the massive hanging tufa has plenty of bridging possibilities if your legs are long enough. USER COMMENTS
almost impossible to grade ! Almscliff VS or Scottish VDiff chminney with back and foot rests. I found a lot of grunting helps, and cover up !
I was told (and there is a finger-tape note stuck to the bottom of the route) that the last bolt before the lower-off is loose making it pretty sketchy at the top!
5th bolt was very loose as of October 2003. We reported it to the council. However we and everyone else did it anyway.
Thetis is OK now. Last bolt before the lower-off already rebolted 04/2004.
Super classic. I did it three times during my stay, and it is just awesome. The route is a must do!
Its worth squeeking the soles of your boots to get a grip on the polished holds used for bridging.
Superb route, you don't need long legs (I'm only 5ft. 8in) to bridge this - a good test of technique.
yes, no long legs needed to bridge, i am 5'5. great route.
Great route, but a little soapy
good route - take a picnic cos' you can rest all over it for hours!! Great fun but it's not as great as its rating suggests?
Perfect route and a must do for not only 6b climbers. |
