Pumpy and a fun struggle through the bulge. The challenge is to try to do it without swearing!
Not bad until you hit the bulge which is hard but nat as hard as some make it look.
Fun route which looks like it will be a lot nastier from below than it is. The top bulge is a tad tricky.
Really not that bad. Very well protected. Top bulge is the crux (due to lack of footholds).

The bulge is tricky without a doubt...worth doing but hard work good, gear all the way.
Well named. Don't climb it in a cycling helmet as you wont be able to turn your head once in the crack. Oh dear.
The helmet tip is spot on (don't bother), and the description is perfect too. I was sweating afterwards!
This climb took the knee off a perfectly good pair of jeans! |
