Route Grade Votings
165m. Climbs the line of a stream which drains the middle of the broken ground on the right hand side of the Shamrock.
A good start and then the route eases until below the obvious cascade where a variety of options are present, we chose a rather hard mixed pillar
The start we took direct and seemed fairly tough and steep to me for a grade (II/III). This was feb of 05, though crappy ice on the crux didn't help. The description in the classic climbs book goes a bit vague after the first few pitches. Don't be suprised by an unexpected turfy buttress pitch beside the ice cascades.
