A bit scarce on gear for a VS. Not really worth a star. Last move is good but the rest is scrappy. Climbed 'the penultimate' before this which gets no stars and was a far better climb.
This is lethal at VS. The move from the ledge has no gear unless you use a side runner and the move is not trivial. If you fell you would be lucky to stay on the ledge.
Don't understand the grading of this one at all... Unless you move right away from the arrete, to the back of the grassy ledge, the gear is a shocking distance away from the harder higher moves
The start is worthwhile but the start moves at the top are pointless and technical and unprotected. Better to move in for the last moves from the right or use siderunners.
Very tough for a VS. Did this as a warm up for LTS - which doesn't seem much harder or more committing. |
