24m. This major route follows the blunt overhanging prow, up the front face of The Promontory, above an evil landing. It gives a sustained sequence of dynamic and blind moves between some reasonably positive holds and some unreasonably sloping ones. Start beneath the obvious pocket on the front face. Once above this, a nasty slap around the arete for a dish leads to the famous knee-move (not really necessary unless you've got inflexibly long legs). A final worrying stretch for the half-height break (harder for the short) gains compulsory protection, easier ground and, ultimately, salvation. USER COMMENTS
