Must be harder for the short. It's a gift if you are tall, and laughable at the top of the graded list in the BMC Froggatt guide.
My short second managed it no problem (as did tall-ish me). It's never 5b. 4c/5a
Only adding comments to counterbalance the other two. VS 5b seems fair to me. Felt full-on 5b to two of us who normally have no prob's at that grade, though it was a hot (sweaty) day! But short and protectable with small wires so perhaps VS is fair, but top-end in my book as quite sustained technically (for 6m!). Good fun.
Soloed this yesterday - only found the confidence to make the top move after three or four attempts. Felt precarious but came easily once committed. Easyish 5b is prob about right.
nice, more fun to boulder, the last move made me think about how much I dis-like lay backing.
Try climbing it the other way than it looks like it should go, awesome fun, good solo.

defo 5b moves nice route double its length and itd be hvs/e1 as for a 6m route it felt fairly sustained! |
