20m. The deep and gloomy rift to a tight and scruffy exit through the manhole. A worthwhile and atmospheric route that is a lot easier than it looks from below. USER COMMENTS
Begin climbing - finish potholing; the route darkens with height and the "manhole" at the top is exactly what it is! Make up your own technique to get through a hole you'll never fall through.
A useful exercise if you want to be a caver. Found the exit nigh on immpossible to get thru...& I`m a skinny guy!
Climbed right hand wall, possibly off-route, in pouring rain. Amusing in retrospect, unpleasant at the time. |
