Climb the tricky, thin crack to a recess (and a cop-out lower-off). Battle up the awkward, leaning chimney to a ledge and possible stance on the left. Finish as for Claw Left-hand along the ramp or by escaping leftwards. USER COMMENTS

Excellent mid grade traditional route - though the presence of a lower-off (below the off-width half way up the first pitch) seems a bit daft. Ok, so the top pitch, after the initial traverse, is a bit of a trial but....
Led it in one. A good honest tussle up to the optional stance but I didn't enjoy all the grass on the top section after the traverse
"Battle" seems an appropriate verb. Unusual climbing - felt like gristone, core body strength, thuggery. |
