Almost a great classic, though the grassy grot just to the right of the lower section is a bit of a spoiler - you will either love it or hate it. Care with the ropework is required. From the gearing-up ledge above the river, pull onto the front face, and climb the arete and wall (or grubby easy ground further right) to a big thread. Swing up and left to enter the hanging groove, and finish spectacularly over the left-hand side of the capping overhang. USER COMMENTS
The spectacular position almost compensates for the mediocre climbing....also bloody hard.
Very enjoyable, expect an audience if you do it on the weekend.
steady climbing with instant exposure! fantastic but also slightly gripping...
Woah! A stunning line with top posing potential. But a tough proposition with hard moves at half height and a scary swing round into the upper groove. Clean rock throughout and an exciting ab off the top. A great adventure!
Never desperate and not at all polished - definitely recommend.
Take small wires to protect the moves off the small ledge midway up the face. OK enough climbing but great position and summit tick |
