Agree - very hard for a Severe - has awkward middle section although it is well protected, noticeably harder than the Staircase. Nice route once you realise that it isn't the doddle you expect it to be.
First half of this route is awkward. Quite strenuous layback moves are required to get established in the easier top groove. Not recommended for novices.
definitely much harder than staircase and by fast the most strenuous sever i've ever done. i'd say 4b and possibly hs but the pro's really good throughout. difficult when wet too, like today, cos yuo're right foot becomes more of an unwanted burden than anything!
Strenuous moves, prepare your pro well and then get on with it! Good fun.

Very strenuous for severe, desperate when wet (& slow to dry). Good line though.
