A wandering line but with some good climbing. Start as for El Coronel at the healthy tree.
1) 6a, 17m. Follow El Coronel to its peg and jammed wire. Pull up and left to a slim corner and ledge above. Now move up and right to the belay of El Coronel.
2) 6a, 22m. Follow El Coronel to the hole and thread. Now work leftwards to link up with Mulatto Wall and finish up this.

Could someone explain to me how did Knighton & Cronshaw know to follow El Coronel in 1980 when this wasn,t done until 1982 ?

I have removed the jammed wire next to the peg. It had gone rusty and its medium sized!
