The flake is much easier than the continuation crack and is very enjoyable. Try your best to arrange a decent belay at the top!

Yes, the flake is easy but excellent fun. Then take a deep breath and head up the steeper crack which is rather less pleasant.
Jon Croxford - 31/Jan/03

A good grade easier than the drainpipe. how does a perfect hand jam crack up a slab get VS? should this route be HVD?
Jon Greengrass - 15/Sep/03

A really lovely route but v easy for the grade - much easier than The Drainpipe.
Jane - 16/Sep/03

very soft touch for the grade but lovely nevertheless. bomber belay at top with thread and block combo

All these people who think the Drainpipe is hard need to get some practice at good old-fashioned thrutching!
