Adjacent Routes 12m. Mantelshelf onto the ledge from the 'Flintstone's spare-wheel' then climb the left arete which has good runners and holds. Swing around left for an exposed finish. USER COMMENTS
once you've placed the obvious wire at half height, try steeping up and putting an 02 wire high up in the tiny break. As you pull up level with it you can see half of it sticking out. Scary but with good holds.
The holds are excellent. Take a moment to look down at the worst landing ever as you swing round the arete.
if this were twice as long then it'd really be something! a good, but relatively straightforward route...
Good route, I agree that if it were twice as long it would be great.
Not sure which bit is supposed to be 4c. The mantelshelf off the wheel maybe?
Nice climbing just worth 4c although i believe we did the start of the E1 off to its right only a thin slab starting bottom left also nice. |
