Adjacent Routes A worthwhile route up the middle of the wall, shaded by the big roof. It is varied and sustained. The belay/lower-off is old. USER COMMENTS
Brilliant steep climbing on some lovely holds in a great location. The second clip above the big ledge is quite bold.
A good fun climb, with an amazing asortment of holds, pockets in tufas, 'broccoli' covered slabs, juggy undercuts, and more.
tuff for the grade, sustained an devious climbing zig-zagging either side of the line of bolts-super situation and satisfiing climbing
The grade is fine at 5+ IMO, a great route unless you have sore tips already. Also can be done in the rain. Awesome setting, good friction & great holds for the grade.
Quite bold, a little scary, satisfying to get up. However the lower off did worry me. A rusty, cracked oval ring and a backup maillon tied onto the two bolts with two bits of tat. [The lower off is a couple of metres to the left of where it is indicated in the guide picture.]
I must have done this one five times now and each time I do it differently.
A good route! Two tough moves on small holds but the rest is a pleasure. Great friction and a few nice jugs. The anchors are suspect, they need to be replaced. Also, the anchors are a few meters to the left of where the guidebook says they are located. |
