Adjacent Routes The crack leading to a wide chimney. Up this and its continuation, past a tree then either find a lower-off, or continue bravely to the top. A bit of an oddity which is seldom climbed. USER COMMENTS
I did this in 2000 and it didn't exit right then. From the top of the chimney, step left (crux) and straight up, moving slightly right before heading back left to the lower off. It may have been changed since then of course. A very nice route, if you like that sort of thing, we guessed at 5 for the grade but looking back 6a is probably more accurate!
Now the line continues after the shrubbery pretty much directly above over a few bulges. Top anchor at about the same height as those of Tufa groove, so around 28m and not 18m. |
