Route Grade Votings

Adjacent Routes The left-hand line in the bay is glossed way beyond pleasant. Don't slip off before you clip the second bolt. USER COMMENTS
Quite polished but perfect for a first lead. Large shelf to stand on at the top when untying from the rope and tying back on.
The polish impacts most moving between the first and second bolt, i.e. decking territory. It's not terribly hard, but maybe not for a 1st lead.
Getting to the second bolt is pretty horrendous. It's nicer above, but not enough to make the route worth doing...
Seconded it when it was quite damp... felt very slippy and polished. I'm not a very confident leader, and this would have put me right off!
When I visited in October 09 most of the first bolts have been removed on the easy routes graded 3/4. This however should not really be seen as an issue as the second bolts are all fairly low anyway. |
