The polished razor-edged iron bits (above a lurking flake) lead left then back right to the top of the slab. Escape via Great Slab. The only gear is a large cam above all difficulties. Stiff boots are a great help.
FA. Jonathan Lagoe late 1970s. Called Slideshow. It took over 20 years for his ascent to be credited. By then the name given by the second ascent party had stuck.

Pretty sweet. Some of the holds are a bit slippery.
Michael Birkby - 04/Sep/03

Fantastic Slab route, a must for those of us that love very delicate, tenious moves (particularly, though worryingly, way above gear).

Key point - Don't obey the chalk-holds. They're most often wrong from people mistaking the correct line!
Pythonist - 02/Oct/03

Very unusual route for Derbyshire more like Yosemite low angle face.
By the way the first ascent was done by Johnathan Lagoe & Alan Baker but they never got the credit.
Philip Smith - 23/Feb/04

Great matchstick edge climbing. Bit painfull if your fingers aren't fresh! Don't bother bringing gear for the hole at the top of the route.
Tom - 12/Aug/04
