14m. The impressive breezy arete has low gear (small wires) and mostly good holds. Bold and airy with some suspect rock.

Why does nobody do this, its a great route and with a bouldering mat and a spotter the fear factor should be greatly diminished.

Having been 'persuaded' by Al to lead this I have to agree it's worhwhile. Possible candidate for two stars even though the last two feet of rock at that top is friable/loose in that worrying Millstone manner (good gear below though).

Good route for E2 - just watch on top moves for pulling rock off.

Did this today. What a great route. The guide is a bit misleading as it suggests there is only gear at 1/3rd height. There are some medium to large (1 - 3 camalots) which protect the loose top out. 2 star climbing but a 3 star experience. Also did not find a long reach anywhere.
