1) 3+, 25m. A low-grade classic. From the green writing, move right and climb the lower rib past a tree to a stance in a niche. USER COMMENTS
Probalby the best route of its grade at Marin, and possibly Costa Blanca--Superb climbing.

Don't recommend lowering off after the first pitch, there are two bolts, but the second is thin and not too rope friendly. The first seems new and solid, but I'm not a big fan of lowering off of a single bolt.
Un sitio para disfrutar escalando. Lo peor es que luego hay que destrepar.
Lovely route, first bolts hard to spot from the ground, but easy to find and plentiful once on the move. Some loose bolts as with many of the Blanca climbs, pack a torque wrench or take wires to back-up!
Beautiful! The best of the low-grade routes at Costa Blanca. No loose bolts today. Brought some wires to compensate a lightly shallow first belay
It is an interesting route but there are plenty of much better (in the same grade) across Costa Blanca. For beginners I recommend Montesa - there are plenty of 5 - 6a as easy as 4 - 5 here in Marin.
Nice easy route, well worthwhile. The only problem is that some idiot removed one of the hangers at the first belay, so there is no anchor. Therefore you have to combine both pitches into one long pitch. It still makes for a nice climb, with a walk off descent down the gully, but its a shame that people have superiority complexes. |
