An impressive arete pitch. Fortunately there are more holds and runners than appearances suggest, though it is still bold! Small wires and a big reach both help.

Great route, but the runners are quite well spaced.
Nick Smith - 25/Jun/02

A bit bold at first, but the crux is well protected and seems to require either thin fingers or a long reach
Chris the Tall - 20/May/04

There might be more runners than appearances suggest but I wouldn't like to take a fall on any of the first three that are shown in the picture. A bit bold for the grade. The crux can also be done with a wrist jam!
Mike Hood - 08/Jun/04

more holds than appearances suggest, sod all runners mind, quite exciting to place your first bit of gear about 12 or 13m up!
did it with an interesting wrist jam/bar thing.
very bold, but protected where it counts.
nev - 09/Jun/06

Protectable with RPs low down but the placements take a bit of ferreting out.
Dave Foster - 02/Oct/11
