Adjacent Routes The line of big pockets on the left-hand side of the main section of the cliff. A hard move gains the sharp stuck-on holds required to pass the crucial section. A bit shoddy. USER COMMENTS
This is a poor route. One hard move leads to 2 glued on holds - both of which are sharp-edged and unpleasant. It would have been better without them at a harder grade overall.
I disagree with Dave on this one, I dont like the idea of stuck on holds, but in this case they do keep the route more balanced, and it is Spain! I think its an excellent route. Come on Dave, it would be the best route there if it was on Giggleswick Lower :o)
I'm spanish and I don't like glued holds.
eagle owl nesting when we visited april 05 - no climbing on the crag at present
Great climbing, a fantastic thuggy 6b. Do the amusing glued on holds spoil it? No, they add spice if you think they may shear off as you use them! |
