Start from the big ledge and climb the arete left of the central section of Great North Road. Mild but delicate and unprotected.
Did this a while ago, but thought it might be worth commenting on as I think few people climb it?? Affix a running belay with one or two more-than-adequate wired chocks at the edge of the ledge, and have one's brave and fearless second belay from a reclined postion upon the ground floor. The difficulties will feel more like E2 and the position and technicality may thus be savoured.
Sustained 5b climbing with epic fall potential makes this stiff E3 (or soft E3 if you put side runners in Regent Street once you get that high).
Err, I meant side runners in Great North Road, not Regent Street, of course.
