Adjacent Routes The right-hand tufa system. Start at a small cave, then trend right up the fine sustained wall. Steep and fingery climbing throughout. Avoiding the well-chalked hidden hole (the way the locals do it) makes it more like 7b+. USER COMMENTS
if you head up and reach the big hole at the right side its supposed to be 7b (which would be the normal to do on sight)... but locals say that skipping this big hole and following the tufa straight up is 7b+. The route is mainly power-endurance, or PILAS in spanish (what is the translation??)
7b is about right, but missing the big hole and going straight up would be pretty contrived, and pretty stupid on such an obvious line. Awesome climbing
Fantastic route. The "hidden" hole had so much chalk around it, it was impossible to miss |
