Adjacent Routes A powerful start and a tricky finish, if you are pumped, which you probably will be. Trend to the right to a large pocket above a tree and then on up the wall. Regarded as 6c by tough locals. A desperate left-hand finish is Jaque mate - at least 8a. USER COMMENTS
Have you climbed it?? It IS 8A!!!!
Between Don diego and solta el mos there are three routes. Probably is a mistake.
I've climbed it, it's 7a+. Steep start into a big hole which seeps a little, then some big moves out of this and a run for the top. Very good, but not 8a!
Local topo says: Don diego 7a+-->Jaque mate?--->jaco mata 6c---->sopas del rei 7b--->solta el mos 7a. Jaco mata starts at jaque mate and finishes at sopas del rei.
It's all verry easy actually.
juan is correct, jaque mate is a route not climbed yet. Gudmund not. Right here via the mono is the 6c Jaco mata. I'm sure, i bolted this two routes.
Right finish via the mono gives a great route - maybe 6c+. The direct finish seemed very hard. |
