A well-named trip traversing above the exposed lip of the Keyhole Cave. It is most easily reached via Brixton Road and protection is only adequate; watch for friable holds.
The VS section was very short and adequately protected. However, since the route is some distance from Brixton Road and round a corner, it eased rope management to solo up BR to reach it. I wonder if this is what the Rockfax description means? Enjoyable climbing in a lovely position.
Excellent for a Sunday afternoon saunter, even if the top out was under 3ft of snow!
Scary, airy, friable & hard to protect. Even though it's technically easy it must be VS
