Two tough pulls and it's all over
A couple of testing pulls at the bottom then moves onto easy rock to the top.
Lots of chossy rock, several useful foot holds fell of the section below the first bolt today. Some of them had already been glued back on previously. Root still climbable at the same grade. As previous comments say after few quite tough moves the rest of the route is several grades easier.
The flake left of the first bolt is now dangerously loose - most of the glue seems to have broken and there are a lot of cracks in the top, could fall out and hurt someone as it's a substantial bit of rock. Have taped over the first bolt but if anyone still wants to get on the route, the second bolt can be stick-clipped from the ground. |
