The left-hand groove is the best route here and a sample of what the rest of the quarry offers. Bridge and jam to the ledge.

Quite slippery route.. not much feet hold.
Stephen Barker - 29/Jun/02

Quite pushy for the grade. Surely 4b?
Jamie B - 07/May/03

A bit scary for a first HS lead!
Jane Horner - 20/Aug/03

I think this is harder than Chiming Crack - probably 4b vs 4a
Kevin Stapley - 11/Aug/04

Felt harder than 4a. Although can be stitched up with good gear all the way up. Sustained but technically easy with good gear.
AndyH1710 - 17/May/05

In the 1978 guide this got VS 4b, which is maybe overstating it but it's closer than HS 4a! Like others have said, it's considerably harder than Chiming Crack.
Simon Caldwell - 14/Aug/05

Definitely harder than Chimney Crack!
... especially for large footed people...
Enrico De Vita - 30/Oct/05

Ma non e' la difficolta'... e' il Dolore ai piedi!
