Adjacent Routes 8m. The central groove is pleasantly mild. Another good introduction to the rock and the style of climbing at Millstone. USER COMMENTS
My mate did his first trad lead on this route. For this purpose it was great - sheltered location - cracks at the base of the climb to teach achor building and belaying - loads of variety in the gear on the route - big ledges for practice placing gear - nice gear for anchors at the top - short enough to talk to the newbe from below if necessary.
A very easy climb, loads of protection with large ledges on which to stand whilst placing. An ideal route on which to learn to lead.
An easy route with loads of protection and good anchors at the top (giant thread). Big leadges on which to stand whilst placing gear makes it ideal for learning to lead on. |
