27m. A superb pitch up the thin right-to-left slanting crack system that sprouts from low down on Aladdinsane. Well protected on the hard section. USER COMMENTS
A good route. Wide to start, thin in the middle, and horizontal at the end. The crux is a bit tedious in the thin limestoney way, I found the oasis of easy climbing afterwards most fun, had a good feel to it, in a good position.
Sustained rather than too difficult - thourougly enjoyed it.
The direct start is mopre in keeping with the rest of the route and i certainly prefer it to the offwidth horror !
This is a three star route because it is fine & varied climbing in a stunning position Mr Fiend does it a disservice
A most excellent route. Crack's a bit thin for my fingers, wasn't expecting that. Bomber gear all the way. Threatens to become hard but then eases off just as you get ready to nudge it up a gear. |
