15m. The fine narrow wall is started on the rib before moving left to the centre of the face. Above this, things ease. USER COMMENTS
According to my diaries, the Lancashire guide is incorrect in that Bill Lounds led the first ascent of this, seconded by me, after I'd spent ages pulling rubble from the crack to make it climbable. Probably 1968 also... I could check.
HS 4a more reasonsable?????
the polish on this route is now detracting from its quality it was much better 20 years ago when it was 2 stars.
Excellent Route not too polished I didn't think the holds just keep getting better as you up, well protected and great climbing. World apart from Jean Jeanie at the same grade though.
I didn't like this much, far too polished for my liking (though I'd just led Harijan so maybe the contrast made it seem shinier?) |
