12m. From just right of the arete make hard moves to and up a thin crack, then pull through the bulges to a ledge. Move left then right through bulges and mantelshelf awkwardly onto a ledge just below the cliff top. The short can gain the route from Route 1, via a short traverse, using a wide pocket, reducing the grade to HVS 5a.
