The other best route here. Climb the spidery cracks rightwards, passing the bulge (peg) on thin flaky holds. Continue up the face on lumps to the lower-off. USER COMMENTS
Excellent route and I didn't notice any encroaching ivy. I did notice ants on the other hand, be warned! Good rock and good wall climbing, can be reachy near the top.
A pleasant route - watch out for the flake though! It is in poor condition and would probably not hold a large fall. Good climbing otherwise, with no sign of any ivy.
Given in E3 in the BMC's Peak Limestone South guide and it certainly felt significantly harder than Silenus. No sign of an ivy.
Lower off replaced 08/09.
Led it again the other day. A much smoother and more controlled ascent than the previous occasion, making it feel like E2 rather than something harder
Super route, my favourite here so far. Continuously interesting moves & solid gear. Just a shame you can step off right so easily. |
