1) -, 15m. Climb up the initial groove of Cat Walk but exit left at its end and traverse to a stance at the left end of ledges below a bigger groove capped by a huge tree.</br>2) 4c, 22m. The main groove pitch is good despite the rather tortuous approach. A difficult exit past the big tree remains.
Good absorbing climbing up the groove where the rock is not above suspicion but unlike a lot of Wildcat has little if any polish, which is a pleasant change. It certainly gets a lot less traffic than most. Gear is only adequate rather than good and the crux is above the rather old and worryingly bent peg. I and my partner thought it worth more like HVS 5a+, but then again we're just two old gits. Nevertheless worthy of two stars.
