14m. The long crack has a tricky layback move to reach a good rest on the right then an awkward crack leads into the final short groove. USER COMMENTS
liked this alot, sustained at hvs but still hvs.. or i'm a wuss
A bold and delicate HVS crack thats a first.
liked this. not too strenuous if ya use yer feet. a solid, proper, hvs 5a!!!
My first HVS onsight, loved every minute of it. Never too hard but it keeps coming at you. Long legs might get you a rest level with the roof on the right.
My second HVS and would have to say the first real one. Proper stuff this not a top end VS. Leaving the safety of the flake may prove difficult...the crux. Went and did tody's wall after this, felt like 4b compared to P/crack
Good solid HVS. Plenty of gear, but sustained
Nice route seconded it as i dont enjoy cracks too much but you dont spend much time in the crack, thug up the bottom then layback the flake, i only used the crack for balance.
Im likeing these comments since I thought it was probably soft for HVS, I must be getting better :)
seconded this, with d.r.I found the centre section after stepping left from flake a bit tricky but once level with the block to your right it great all the way to the top!
Simple enough for HVS 5a but that grade definately. Hard ish step across from under roof crux for me, good gear. |
