nice route but the crux is very hard for the grade.
the above is certainly true making it very unbalanced because this is about the second of third move. If you manage this the rest is groovy!
The apparent crux is easy if you take off your blinkers! A little lateral thinking is required!
A bit of a boulder problem start but you need to be pretty solid on it as it wouldn't be a nice fall. Above that its a joy, quite technical at the top.
What!! No stars? This was another flowing gem of a route, never that hard, great start, thoughtful moves and a good crux!
I absolutely loved this route. The 2006 guide has it right to give it the 'musical' grade rating. Don't remember a stopper crux on the route- i thought it was beautifully sustainted and had a nice range of moves from the start right to the belay. |
