16m. The cracks to the right of the corner lead steeply to a ledge (possible stance on the left). Trend right up the wall to a spike (tape runner) and a well-positioned finish on shelving holds. USER COMMENTS
All climbing should be this enjoyable. If only there were another twenty pitches of this stacked one on top of the other.
My third lead (first@HS). Great climb, good gear in the two cracks to gets you safely on the ledge. The step onto the flakes feels nerve racking but foot holds and hang holds become apparent once your on there.
Thought the initial steepish crack moves were worth 4b; the rest is nicely exposed but easy.
top climb. the move from the ledge is scary but once yer out there everything is fine.
I'd say the initial cracks are just about 4b, but it seems to be well protected and an absolutely cracking route
Excellent, couple of strenuous but well-protected moves in the cracks. Shake-out, then balance up the simple but airy ledges |
