Called Nestroas and given 7a+ but probably just 7a.Top quality route similar to the great routes at Spartacus
One of the very bests, hard 6c.
Certainly a soft touch at 7a+ but the crux is a hard move and easy to mess up on-sight. Good 7a in my opinion.
Less pumpy than Ektor, but with a definite crux move on a small pocket. Has been downgraded to 7a for the new guide.
This is hard to onsight if you're short and don't have the draws already in as the last bolt is high so you have to climb the crux almost past it before clipping. Above that feels quite run out!

maybe the crux makes this 7a+ but it felt much more like 7a. i think the crux slightly spoils the route as its out of character with the rest of it: quite fiddly / sequency moves compared to big positive moves / holds elsewhere.
Great sustained 7a with a necky runout to the belay
The best 7a I did during the 5 days climbing days there...
Blew the on-sight after an hour of climbing to the crux, failing to work it out and reversing back to the rest. Bugger. Easy when you Know how. |
