Adjacent Routes 16m. From 12m up the gully, jam along the horizontal break out onto the front of the buttress, then climb the steep wall above, keeping to the left of the arete. USER COMMENTS
A fine route, but a word of warning to those of you just starting out at leading VS; getting established at the start of the traverse is very strenuous. There are good placements for large cams at this point, but you'll start to pump out after placing one or two. This has got to be the toughest VS 4b I've led to-date. Not a route for the weak of heart (or arm). |
