<< La Canal < La Chino | Milongas sangrantes > Espolón Pertemba >>
E5. A big route taking the impressive red-streak in the big wall right of the main bulk of Pared de la Taula. A full rack is needed with a few thin threads. Start by scrambling up a ramp onto the grassy terrace. Continue left until almost under the red streak.
1 to 3) 5, 90m. Take three relatively easy pitches up the lower wall to reach a belay below the smooth wall.
4) 7a, 45m. Climb direct to a thread, then left up a pocketed slab, past some bolts, to a belay.
5) 7a+, 40m. Follow the fully bolted line above.
6) 6c, 40m. Climb a groove on the right then move left into a groove. Follow this past bolts to a ledge on the left.
7) 6b, 35m. Climb the wall above then swing left and follow grooves to a large ledge.
Descent - Make 5 abseils starting from threads and blocks down and left. Alternatively, walk across the ledge and follow La Chino (4 ) to the top.
