Bit of a one move wonder really, the tops not even a mod. Good for a first E1 though.
well even tough it was a one move wonder i'll still call it a E1 just so i can take the credit for soloing an E1
As far as I'm concerned this was a trad boulder problem in the 80's. Can't give much credence to any FA claim.
I tell people i've soloed an e1 but then tell them i don't think it was e1 or even 5c after the first moves it is a walk!
Single 5c (well, 5b) move low down and nothing even vaguely hard afterwards. HVS 5b would be more accurate, as the 5c start to the VS next door is much harder and scarier.
def 5c for shorties!!!
I think I'd give this 5c, did this yesterday and had to be shown the way by someone else. It's a stretchy move and a balancy foot up (I'm 5.6) but it is all over after that so I wouldn't give it E1 as you are only 6 feet from the ground but the move is defo harder the move on Ratline which again is very reach dependant and is fair at 5b |
