This one follows the right-hand subsidiary slab. Climb a crack onto the slab and follow it directly. Take care with loose rock at the top. Not in current guidebook.

Deadly. As of yesterday, this route is now missing a 40kg spike on the shelf, 2/3 of the way up, on the left wall. I slung this spike, palmed-off it, and then fell in a shower of rubble, while the huge spike plummeted below me. Very nearly hit my belayer, which would have been it for us both. Also loose at the top. Hated it. Dont' climb it.
In furtherence to this, I have since been told of a major accident on this route, some four years ago. I should think this heap of rot were better stricken from the record, were it not that some poor sod would climb it uninformed. |
