This burly climb follows the steep crack in the narrow east facing wall. Of the climbs here, this one probably has more scalps on its belt than the others since not only is it steep and sustained, but it also has a mysteriously technical move at the top. Follow the crack above a small cave, past one rest to another below a steep section. There are plenty of holds, though lots of them are not very useful!
Why don't you give me any credit for Over the Hill. I've long since been niggled at the guide's reference to two points of aid, which was not true. I simply leant out in each cave before setting out on the overhanging and unclimbed rock, on sight. Pat had been trying the route before and eventually went back and Nipper did it. But I did it 3 years years before, on sight and ground Up.
Pretty burly and awkward, a real contrast to the E4s further left. The holds are quite a bit larger, but also quite a bit less positive.
