34m. A route which takes an 'edge of everything' line up the right-hand side of the large sea cave. Intimidating but well protected where it matters. From the ledge, climb up to another ledge then head leftwards up the wall towards some blocky overhangs. Pull left around the overhangs and make some steep moves up into a hanging groove above. Follow this to the top, past a dodgy block. USER COMMENTS
Really good fun, excellent gear and an awesome position. The fluttery heart seems somewhat unecessary, unless it's supposed to be for the feeling that you are some way above the sea.
Perhaps the heart symbol refers to the wedged block you have to yard on to get into the top groove. It makes an unnerving clunk as you do this! E4 if it stays in, pretty terminal if it doesn't! Regardless of its temporary structure, a brilliant route. |
