One of the only few routes in the area which actually merits the grade given.
very enjoyable, but a shame it's slightly escapable on the right.
Whilst technically about right at 4c, this is a serious route. Other than a micro cam quite early on, there seems to be no pro until the sloping and rather dirty ledge at 7 or 8m.
Enjoyed this route quite a lot, nice technical start and then thugging it from break to break,nice and pumpy,some may find it 5a.
Nice climbing but felt a bit serious for the grade.
Great little route - worth more stars if it weren't so escapable, although the escapability is comforting when soloing it! |
