25m. The last of the trio takes a line up the wall directly below the overhang. Climb up to the right-hand of the two left-facing grooves, move up slightly rightwards then trend back left to a split in the overhang. Heave over this and finish up the crack. USER COMMENTS
Quality face climbing with quality moves over the lip. 3 stars!
Agreed. Awesome wall climbing with a well protected overhang section to boot. I found traversing the wall to be the scary bit!
Best line on the wall (except ghost ship), lots of nice moves with a pleasantly easy roof after a quite bold thin slab section just below.
Amazing climb, with the holds getting smaller the higher you get, up to roof which has good holds once you get your feet right. 3* and one of the best in Pembroke.
Brilliant, should be in the Top 50
Just brilliant; the great sequence of moves to gain the overhang quite a way above (bomber) gear. Still a bit of work to do once you pull over.
Amazing route although being little slick at the bottom led to an over-griping pump and a fight the whole way thereafter. CC guide says the start is above the high tide mark but only just and with a swell it made for an interesting race in between waves to get on it!
The best E2 I've done in Pembroke, should be top 50. A beautiful, absorbing route on superb rock, in a dramatic setting. What a pitch! |
