33m. The easiest climb in the Leap gives good climbing up the groove line right of the smooth brown wall. From the top of the lower groove, tricky moves back left gain the upper corner to the right of the large roof. Follow this, with care, to the top. USER COMMENTS
Great climb - though it could just be the excitement of being in the Leap - what an awesome place!
Fantastic route - steady the whole way, good gear, be confident and it'll be a breeze...
Excellent route. Never too hard and never too strenuous.
super climb. steady and enjoyable climbing in an amazing location. huntsmens leap. what a cool atmospheric area.
My first time in The Leap what a wonderful experience. From the top it looks dark and dismal, but from inside, it's huge, light, quiet and atmospheric. Superb.
The first groove is a bit tricky; the route, overall, pleasantly sustained. Felt harder than Beast.
A beer towel would be useful to dry off the footholds at the start (which can be wet and greasy)
I found this MUCH harder than Beast, much more strenuous & far more sustained. Definitely bit off more than I could chew. Fell off 3 times & pulled on nuts to get up. No way is it "the easiest route in the Leap".
I found this easier than beast and equally fun - only one short hard section in the middle, rest is easy. Start is hard when feet covered in foam, sure it would be fine if dry. E1 5b ** |
