35m. The thin right-hand crack above the ledge gives painful, finger-shredding climbing. It is in a very impressive situation but prepare yourself for a real battle; the climbing is not to everyone's liking. Climb easily up the rib as for Diagnosis, to a ledge. Move up into the crack and climb it all the way to the top. USER COMMENTS
ignore the above description.this is a 3* pitch and i don't recall any of it being finger shredding.good sustained climbing, good gear and a superb position.what more do you want?
Remember trying this a few years back - taking turns to get higher and higher on it with a friend. Not exactly an onsight then! We ended up down-climbing I think. Not a finger shredder, and a must-try if you can muster the stamina.
This description really needs to be changed. General consensus is that this is a great route on great rock. Steep, well protected, fun climbing. It seems strange to give a climb a negative write up like that based, presumably, on the experience of one person (the author)
Agreed, nice climbing, good rock, great position. Very steady for E5. |
