A fine companion route to Chimes of Freedom. Start below two prominent right-facing grooves below the main line of overhangs. Climb the easy lower wall to the base of the right-hand groove then make a difficult move up left into the smaller left-hand groove. Follow it to its top then step right below the roof and pull over steeply onto a hanging arete. Go through a gap in the roof above to reach a break. Traverse left beneath another overhang and pull up into a crack which is followed to the top.
Description is a little wrong- from the top of the left hand groove you move up and right onto a hanging arete, not move right below it and pull onto it as it says in the 1995 rockfax and here. The moves over the smaller roof above are quite hard (crux) and the pegs quite old but good gear in the break. The 1995 rockfax shows the correct line on the topo diagram on page 86 but the wrong line on the photo diagram on page 87. Good route.
